When an avatar has completed the work they came to do, they consciously exit the physical body and leave the material plane. Swami Sri Yukteswar left his body on March 9, 1936 and Paramhansa Yogananda left his body on March 7, 1952. This evening is dedicated to these two great masters and the divine light that came through them for the upliftment of all souls.
The evening will include chanting, meditation, music with the Ananda Joy Choir, a devotional flower ceremony, a donation, and readings and stories about the lives of Sri Yukteswar and Paramhansa Yogananda. All are welcome.
