Sitabai Betts has been a Lightbearer for 25 years and has lived at Ananda Village since 1984. Sitabai and her family also lived at the Portland Community from 1998 to 2000. Besides helping with Ananda Village Management she leads spiritual Camino de Santiago Pilgrimages for The Expanding Light Retreat that focus on both the rural walking in nature – arriving at the famous Cathedral de Santiago, as well as on daily meditations and inspirations, purification, and reflection. In this satsang Sitabai will share slides of the small-group Pilgrimage she led last September. Sitabai also solo walked the entire 600-mile Camino France from France to “The End of the World” in 2017. If your interest is in solo walking the Camino, she’s also happy to answer your questions.

Allow the holy Pilgrimage to speak to your heart through ancient churches, time-honored pilgrim customs, bonding lifelong new spiritual friendships, Mother Nature in the Galician Spain countryside, centuries-old villas, and more. This amazing personal journey of the heart, which began in the 10th Century, offers a sublime journey to the Self.
