The elementary enrichment class series offers an opportunity for your child to expand their heart and mind. This class will provide a space for the exploration of inner awareness and life skills, with self-expression through yoga, meditation, art, writing and games. Sydney is a former parent and art teacher from Living Wisdom School. She brings her love of children, openness and sensitivity to share with the children. Classes will be held outdoors as much as possible or indoors at the Ananda Portland Temple and Teaching Center when needed.
Classes are every Tuesday & Thursday starting April 19th – June 16th
1 – 3 PM
Ages 8-11 years old.
Cost: $500 for 9 weeks.
We ask that those enrolling have been following precautions for preventing transmission of the coronavirus. All of us rely on each other to keep our community healthy. We are following local guidelines. Masks are optional.
Hi my name is Sydney PETETT I will be teaching the elementary enrichment class as part of Ananda enrichment series. I have been practicing art now for 30+ years and sharing; teaching children on their own creative process, bringing methods and ideas to spark the light and joy within and expressing it. We will explore our surroundings, draw from nature, dance to our rhythms and song, paint with joy, meditate to practice peace, and build lasting friendship with our creativity.
I have had my son in Living Wisdom School since kindergarten. The Education for Life method is a holistic connecting method of teaching that will be the foundation of this series.
