Guru Night is an annual devotional event held outdoors in our community. Shrines will be set up and decorated for each of our line of gurus and, as a group, we visit each shrine, filling the air with joyful chanting and devotion. With readings, prayers and music, we honor each guru and offer our gratitude.
We begin in the warm sunshine, but by the end of the evening it is dark and cooler. Please dress accordingly. We will have chairs to sit on, you are welcome to bring blankets for ground sitting if you prefer. We will be moving around to the various shrines. A flashlight for after dark can be helpful.
