This particular Learn to Meditate workshop is a short but intensive 3-hour immersion into some easy-to-learn techniques. It will help you establish a daily practice, providing you with increased calmness, greater focus and energy, and a solution-conscious approach to life.
Our instructors are certified and experienced in the techniques of kriya yoga as taught by Paramhansa Yogananda. Each instructor has a personal practice of meditation and many years of experience in sharing these teachings with others.
This month’s teacher: Joy Andreakis
Joy is a Certified Ananda Meditation teacher living in the Portland Ananda Community. She has led weekend meditation retreats and loves to support people in their search for inner growth.
Joy began her discovery of spiritual practice while a university student living in a Transcendental Meditation community. Following an inner call to move from the Midwest to California, she was introduced to the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. She has been a meditator for over 25 years.
