Retreat: Meeting Life’s Transitions with the Ancient Teachings of Yoga

Please welcome Nayaswami Nalini Graeber and Maitri Jones, both of Ananda Village.

This retreat will feature inspirational stories of people who have moved through the challenging life events with courage and grace. Participants will learn how to use yogic tools to prepare their own nervous system, body, mind and spirit to be better able to emulate those heroic successes.

Nalini will be sharing highlights from her new book, Transitioning in Grace: A Yogi’s Approach to Death and Dying.

Maitri will share Ananda yoga asanas, pranayamas, and a technique from Yogananda called Superconscious Relaxation with AUM (Ananda’s version of Yoga Nidra).

Nalini and Maitri will offer a free presentation on the topic on Friday, Oct. 18, 7-8:30. All are welcome. More details here.

Saturday Retreat Schedule:

8-9:30am      Meditation

9:30-10am     Break

10am-12pm   Morning session

12-1:30pm     Lunch (on your own)

1:30-3pm       Afternoon session (includes a short break)
