As parents, we often find ourselves in unfamiliar territory, trying to guide our children through questions and challenges that we don’t feel confident about ourselves.
Spirituality is a vast inner world that includes our relationship to religion as well as how we relate to birth, death, nature, family, holidays, ritual, prayer, grief, healing, money, the purpose of our lives and the meaning of inner joy, peace, true wisdom, grace, contentment, forgiveness, power and unconditional love.
We can’t cover it all in one class, but we can explore how to share spirituality with children and grow in our spiritual life as a family.
Our exploration will include these three areas:
- Practices – Family and Personal
- Guides on the journey
You will take home with you:
- A vocabulary of words, affirmations and prayers to create a spiritual language for your family.
- Meditation techniques suitable for children of all ages.
- Stories and resources to support your ongoing journey with your children.
