DESCRIPTION:\n\nKirtan is a shared time of devotional chanting\, with short
  periods of meditation. Chanting is a spiritual practice that opens the he
 art and allows for an experience of deep inner stillness and connection wi
 th the divine presence within.\n\nWe will chant together under the sky as 
 the sun goes down.\n\nNo experience necessary!  We will share the words t
 o the chants\, which are usually in English and occasionally in Sanskrit. 
 Our musicians use harmoniums\, guitars and a harp.\n\nPlease come and join
  us for our monthly kirtans. All are welcome.\n\nAnanda Portland Community
