DESCRIPTION:All Ananda kriyabans are invited to meditate together once a mo
 nth. This is a special time of inner stillness and kriya practice for thos
 e kriyabans in the Portland area. Group meditation strengthens our practic
 e and gives us support through other sincere souls.\n\nYogananda said:\n\n
 "Individual and group meditation both are necessary. The former recharges 
 the Soul with God\; the latter recharges the mind with the good vibrations
  of the Spiritual convictions of other Souls."\n\nand\n\n"Group meditation
  is a castle which protects the new Spiritual aspirants as well as the ve
 teran meditators. Meditating together increases the degree of Self-Realiza
 tion of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchang
 e of Spiritual magnetism.\n\nGroup meditation will hold people together\, 
 not because of the Leader’s personality\, or because of musical programs
  and festivities\, but because of the people’s own Self Realization. The
 n\, too they would of their own accord want to get together often\, to wor
 ship God on the united altar of their devotion."\n\nOur united kriya pract
