Sunday School for children ages 3 – 9 is offered during our Sunday service on the first Sunday of the month. Taught by Melissa Heart and an assistant, the children enjoy stories, crafts, music, yoga, and brief meditation. Class size is limited to 8 children.
Our goal is to guide the children in fun and meaningful activities with a spiritual focus. We hope to provide an uplifting time for them, while their parents enjoy inspiration in the main service.
The principles of Self-Realization are universal and non-dogmatic. Based on the teachings of Yogananda and Education for Life, Sunday School at Ananda gently encourages an expansion of the heart and awareness of the Divine within all souls.
