DESCRIPTION:Chakra is a Sanskrit word that literally means “wheel” or 
 “circle.” In a deeper\, spiritual sense\, the word describes the whirl
 pools or vortices of energy located along the central axis of our bodies\,
  in the astral or energy spine that underlies the physical backbone.\n\nTh
 ere are six nerve centers or chakras in the astral spine. An upward flow
  of energy through the chakras accompanies divine awakening\, while a dow
 nward flow of energy signals attachment to matter and a darkening effect o
