Nayaswami Nalini is a minister and founding member of Ananda Sangha Worldwide. After academic training at Stanford and Columbia University, she was drawn to the joy of meditation and to the great Indian master of yoga, Paramhansa Yogananda (author of the classic Autobiography of a Yogi). For many decades she has been blessed to live in several Ananda communities and to study the transforming teachings of yoga with Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda.
Currently, Nalini lives at Ananda Village and serves with Online-with-Ananda and Radio Ananda. She is also editing her book, to be published in October of 2019: Transitioning in Grace: A Yogi’s Approach to Death and Dying. Nalini is deeply committed to sharing the blessings of life in spiritual community through writing, teaching, counseling, and prayer.
