Rajarshi Day is named for Rajarshi Janakananda, the great disciple of Yogananda. He worked and attained material success in the world, as well as spiritual success and freedom by attunement with his guru.
During Rajarshi Day we work together to beautify and uplift our temple, sharing divine friendship, inspiration, laughter and attunement to our guru, Paramhansa Yogananda.
All are welcome to join in the day. We will be serving lunch after our labors. All levels of skills are welcome. Work will be done outside and inside, rain or shine.
Schedule: 8:30 AM – coffee and morning treats
8:45 AM – Opening circle and job assignments
12:00 – clean up and finishing tasks
12:30 – meditation
12:45 – vegetarian lunch
1:30 – final clean up and goodbye
