Ananda Portland Service Adventure Club

Ananda Portland is thrilled to offer our first ever Service Adventure Club ~ an Education For Life inspired club for ages 8-14. Our intention is to share adventures filled with inspiration, joyful service and self-discovery for youths and families in our Ananda Sangha and local communities. We will use a blend of yoga, meditation and chanting together, along with our primary focus of service adventure projects.

Badri & Gita will spearhead this program and rely on volunteer energy from parents and community members, in coordination with local non-profits and community organizations, to create meaningful, memorable and fun experiences and adventures. In addition to our weekly (Wednesdays, 4-6pm) practices and projects, we’ll plan 1-2 special service adventure weekends where we can travel together to find beautiful locations in nature, new and inspiring service opportunities, and ever-deeper friendships and fun. We look forward to developing this community experience together!
