Join us for a transformative satsang inspired by the timeless teachings of Swami Sri Yukteswar, the revered yoga master and guru of Paramhansa Yogananda. In his profound work, The Holy Science, Swami Sri Yukteswar reveals the path to awakening the heart’s natural love. This journey involves the removal of eight key inner tensions, which he calls “the meannesses of the heart.” These tensions are:
- Hatred
- Shame
- Fear
- Grief
- Condemnation
- Race Prejudice
- Pride of Pedigree
- A Narrow Sense of Respectability
During the satsang, we will explore these emotional barriers and discover the deep joy that arises when we learn to recognize, control, and ultimately remove them. Central to this process is Viveka—the art of discernment, which is both used and developed through the practice of introspection.
In this process the heart becomes free from what suppresses it, and gradually reveals its most innate quality. Unconditional love then manifests in our lives, as a superpower!
