Paramhansa Yogananda said:
Seek the Father behind all fathers
And the Mother behind all mothers.
Seek the only Beloved behind all loved ones….
Services are also live-streamed to our Ananda Portland YouTube channel.
Sundays are a unique opportunity at Ananda.
Each week we get together, in person and online, to share in the path of Self-Realization as brought by Paramhansa Yogananda.
These teachings are non-sectarian and all are welcome.
Service includes chanting and brief meditation, readings from the Bible and Bhagavad-Gita, affirmations, music, inspiration talks from our ministers, a spiritual ritual called The Festival of Light, and the opportunity for satsang (fellowship with other truth seekers).
Yogananda gave us many tools and techniques to use for our spiritual growth. At Sunday service, we are able to have a small experience of just about all of them. We are also able to be in the vibration of a sacred space with others who are committed to high-mindedness and self-expansion.
