“A tiny bubble of laughter, I
am become the Sea of Mirth Itself.”
—from the great mystical poem Samadhi by Paramhansa Yogananda
God is joy, or as Paramhansa Yogananda himself often explained: God is ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new bliss. This ever-new joy or bliss of the soul is one of the great gifts of an authentic spiritual life and, surprising to some, often finds expression in laughter and a wonderful sense of humor. Yogananda himself and his disciple Swami Kriyananda, along with many saints throughout history, beautifully shared their version of this joyful, playful sense of humor and bliss.
In this spirit of childlike humor and joy, join Brahmachari Sagar for a special workshop exploring the playful, blissful nature of the spiritual life together. With his own characteristic wisdom and wit, Sagar will share the depthless teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and Swami Kriyananda on this subject, and help to apply them to the personal, spiritual path and the world today. Don’t miss this opportunity to dive into joy and humor, enrich your spiritual life, and share a few laughs together!
