4-Week Course: Awakening Intuition through Ananda Yoga
This course uses Ananda Yoga postures as tools for directing energy and awareness inward. Through conscious movement, stillness in poses, and subtle energetic focus along the spine, students learn to feel intuition as a direct inner experience.
Week 1: Awakening Your Energy Centers Through Asanas
Theme: Feeling prana and chakras in the body
Through mindful asana practice, we begin to sense prana as a subtle current moving through the spine and body. Gentle poses and breath awareness help awaken sensitivity to the chakras without forcing or analyzing the experience. This week establishes a foundation of inner feeling, where attention shifts from physical effort to energetic awareness.
Week 2: Posture + Visualization for Inner Sensing
Theme: Directing energy through awareness in poses
As we hold postures with greater steadiness, we begin to guide energy intentionally using focused awareness and simple visualization. Imagery supports concentration, helping prana flow more consciously through the spine and energy centers. This integration of posture and inner focus refines perception and strengthens intuitive sensing.
Week 3: Deep Listening Within Still Postures
Theme: Finding intuition in stillness and sustained awareness
By holding poses longer and reducing movement, we create the inner quiet necessary to perceive intuition more clearly. Awareness deepens from doing, into simply observing, allowing subtle insights to arise naturally. In this stillness, we learn to recognize the calm, steady quality that distinguishes intuition from thought or emotion.
Week 4: Intuitive Movement & Integration
Theme: Letting intuition guide the body
With a foundation of awareness and stillness, we begin to move more freely, allowing inner guidance to shape our practice. Postures become less about form and more about responding to subtle energetic cues from within. This week emphasizes trust, helping us carry intuitive awareness into daily life.
